Well it's time to make a new topic for everyone. The Gippsland crew have made a start on Waterwitch, with the first job being shortening of the axle.
We are endeavoring to preserve as much as we can, and in knowing that we will never get the trailer registered, we have decided to narrow the axle so that it can be towed whilst on a tandem trailer. Once on site it will be able to me moved on it's original trailer for display, and if it gets to it, launching.

Re: Waterwitch
The boys have been hard at it on Waterwitch. Shortened axle now refitted so the boat and trailer can be trailered on a tandem.
We've started checking the engine out and so far it cranks, 6v elec pump is running, clutch is free, so hopefully we may have it running soon. Either way we are good to go for it's first outing to Glenmaggie & District Boat Club on the 6-7 December for the combined get together with the SSBOC - Seacraft, Syndicate Boat Owners Club crew. We may even do a test float on the day!
