The next to are of the non performing the way it should Jupiter, although it does float the fat pigeon in his designer jeans, shoes and helmet!

Lovely boats and great photos.
Could I offer one suggestion. Instead of some chux/rags stuffed down the throats of the webers that you guys get some bath plugs of the appropriate diameter and some brass chandelier chain to join them together and use those to blank off the webers during transit.

They will seal well, are more obvious that they are in place and don't have the problem of maybe one of the piece of rag gets left behind with major consequences.

I'm really looking forward to running with FPR in Old Flame and catching up with you guys in Goolwa

Looking at Jupiter,
It might just be my lack of knowledge of such things, but
the prop looks to be positioned high compared to the bottom of the hull
Is this where it needs to be
I would have thought the top of the prop would have to be at, or below the hull.

Thanks for the advice, hopefully Stuart will take it on board? There is a block under the bracket lifting the motor so it can be lowered but Stuart's call!

Very much looking foward to Goolwa, and got some photos to come of the bug in action hopefully tomorrow cheers and see you at Goolwa

Peter , good call on the plugs .

Jeff , the set up for Jupiter is the same as Narranderra and worked fine until the prop departed. The prop shaft is inline with the bottom of the hull , the outboard at the same height as Narranderra, the only variable is a replacement prop. When I received the prop it had a note on it that it may need more cup ! Really......

The prop seems to be slipping , it just doesn't seem to bite, I will add more cup and try again. Any advice on this more be great as this is a "best guess setup"

I was thinking that when I wrote the question.
Lowering the motor might not be the ultimate set-up, but
I thought it would have given the prop more of a chance to hook up.
Im sure you get it sorted in no time
