Jeez, I'm all ready to go. Have been for a couple of weeks.
Does this mean something is going to break at Goolwa?
A Tasmanian experience
Re: A Tasmanian experience
Good work Chivs and Greg
Yes, Jupiter is quicker than it looks ! Standard prop works well after some home panel beating. Testing of new prop aborted when rocks jumped out and hit it (sheer pin manufactured from a nail worked !) will attempt to repair for a Goolwa test....all systems go !
PS ..Bob, your crystal ball didn't include a kneel down Hydro but Chivs really does want one !

Ahoy all!
Greg has posted the online newsletter in the members section, thanks Greg a great read.
2 bits from that, love the BHP pine reference! As we all know the younger generation know most things, young Drof was telling all and sundry about the largest wooden Navy Boat in the dock, so I got him on Tomboy and took him up close to see how they welded the BHP hoop pine to the vessel!
Second bit, the is one small shot of Miss Tamar, which does not do it justice, so if I do not get timed out on this I will post some extra photos. Sadly Bruce Jessop was giving her a run on the Tamar and hit something in the water causing it to roll upside down ending up in the mud flats. Bruce lost a bit of bark off his back and I expect he is healing and will repair what needs repairing, the boat is a vulgar display of wealth!
Cheers.
