Yarrawonga Wet Together 2013

Postby hookster » 16 Aug 2012, 10:39

EEEEEEEEHAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!

Yep it's on again folks, the Yarrawonga Lake is set to be the host venue for the second year in a row!! Everyone's welcome and there's plenty of room to park your boat/tent/camper. Those that made it last year would agree it was a great weekend, and a great venue for our 'special' needs. I would post some photos from last year as a refresher, but I've changed laptops and the old photos are lost in the hard drive of my dearly departed old computer. There's plenty of photos on the post from 2012 if you want a gander.

The weekend of Friday 11 - Sunday 13 January is locked in. Address for piracy on the high seas is 8 Rosemary Court, Yarrawonga, VIC 3730, Australia.

I only have one further thing to add: MORE FRIGGIN CLINKERS PLEASE!!! The last wet together found me heavily outgunned in the Clinker/butterbox stakes, so naturally all the leaking boat jibes had only one person to focus on, which I thought was a tad unfair...actually I cried myself to sleep on the Saturday night.

Ric I'm surprised you missed the chicken massacre considering it was already heading for about 30 degrees and you were sprawled out in the back of your wagon in full sun with a mountain of shitty brown vinyl couch cushions for bedding

Looks like you butterbox boys better watch out, the clinker count is rising (including a friggin skiff???).......I suppose I could drop AJAY in the water as well to bolster our numbers. Dazza you should well and truly have enough notice to organise that weekend off work

Here's a mighty proffessional youtube clip from last years wet together to whet everyone's appetite (Thanks Connor!!)

Reckon you'd better add another weatherboard.

The Sneddons may come up for a spectaoral if that's the right word. Doubt that boat will be finished by then. Might have to ask SWMBO if we can bring up the non completed shell just to show it orf.

Cheers

Looks like I might have to bring another butterbox just so that they still hold the lead  Looking forward to it. This year I won't try and hold on to the V8's and will hopefully keep the motor in tact.
