Powerboat picnic at Goolwa - postponed til Sat July 18th.

Hi all,
The Powerboat picnic at Goolwa that was planned for this Saturday July 11th, has been postponed until next Saturday July 18th.
This is due to the weather forecast of thunderstorm, heavy rain to possible hail and 30 to 45 kph winds.

The only problem is the heavy rain and hail will make it difficult to spot the icebergs and fur seals!

Hi all

The weather is looking good, well as good as it will get for winter,
very light winds are forecast for Saturday.
Its still going to be cool, but at least it won't be windy.

What will be hot, is the vintage hydroplane action on offer.
We will have four of the beast's in attendance this weekend plus a number
of other craft on hand to blow the winter blues away.

This is a twilight event, kicking off around lunch time.
The BBQ will be cooking up some snags, and the bar will be open.

Its very pleasing for us to see the continued growth in vintage / classic speed boating.
I'd also like to thank our many regulars for their continued support.
