15ft Lewis skiff - TAILSPIN

Looking for any info on the above a request from one of the blokes @ the Classic Boat Shed Rathmines.
His dad bought the boat from the front yard of a house at Mannering Park NSW in 67
Was in a poor state had a Dodge Q direct drive
Converted it to a ski boat runabout and glassed the hull
Added an extra plank both sides for more freeboard
Changed name to JOY-O
sold in late 70's
Mid 80's seen with Y block installed
I know its relatively unlikely anyone has info on this boat but it amazes me how much 'stuff' these forum members have collectively in the grey matter

Could that Joy-O have been Jo-Joy? A bloke called Ted Patching had a Y Block powered runabout at Deepwater somewhere around that era.

A bit more info on the skiff and some pics, pic quality not very good I scanned em off some old slides.Bought for $35 in this condition in 67 - some things dont change much!
