That would be great Peter. I now realise why Jeff Thompson gave me one of those vacant looks when I started talking to him about the 1947 Ferrari engine. Silly me didn't twig that there was a tommo and a thommo on the forum.

No worrys Bob apparently after fred drew his twin cam on the she floor repco and holden built 30 or so for thier racing cars well before the waggot came along then there is the Dunston rotary valve built in s oz and produced 200hp@7000 and was raced in a hydroplane called the Minx I think the web page http://www.justholden.com/holden/?p=8 could that be a repco donk cheers peter

Antique, Do has had a number of engines in it, starting with a Ford 10, then a Harley with different barrels & heads (speedway engine) then a V8 60 and then the 2 litre V12 Ferrari. It set the record at 103 mph with the Ferrari in it. As it stands right now, it has the V8 60 back in it.
Tommo, I think the Repco motors you're referring to are the Crossflows, not Twin Cam. Dave Pagano has one of those engines.

the last time I saw DO was around 1980 and was sure it was Ferrari power and was told I was wrong in the trivea section
