This is all happening at the end of the month and numbers need to be firmed up. This should be a good show and really good promotion for us as the CAWPBA.

If you want to put your boat in, please contact Ross ASAP.

Guys - I note a previous post regarding insurance on our boats - the venue DOES NOT cover our boats. Rebound has lay up cover over winter (meaning that it would not be covered during the months of the display) so I have contacted Nautilus Marine who is providing cover for travel to and from Shepparton and while the boat is on display. I don't believe there is an additional cost.

BTW - are there any rules concerning fuel in tanks etc. And when should be our boats be dropped off? Days/times?

Bob, I have just sent a email to them about drop off days and times and rules regarding fuel tanks and batteries.
Will let every one know when they get back to me. My guess would be- no fuel in tanks and batteries to be disconnected as this is what happens at the hotrod show in Melbourne

When do you expect to have the boats set up?
Our car club will be passing through shepparton early next month
on our way to Wangeratta for the FB EK Nationals on the June long weekend.

Below is a copy of some communication between the museum and Ross about boat delivery options for those participating:

Graeme is back on deck and is happy to work in with you guys are far as dropping of the boats, we appreciate your efforts and want to make it as easy as possible and not inconvenience you too much.

As you can understand it is not easy changing our feature display and we generally do it after hours so not to inconvenience our visitors.

We are happy if your guys want to drop off the boats though the last week of May or the early couple of days in June.

If they wanted to drop off individually when it suits, which may make things easier for both, or if a number wanted to come together.
It would suit us obviously later in the day, say from 3pm, but we are flexible.

Our number at the museum is 5823 5833, my mobile is 0413 053 309 or Graeme’s 0439 435 719, if they want to contact us prior and let us know when they might be arriving.

But as I said, what ever suits your members, we are looking forward to the display and thanks for your support.
