Last weeks exciting local news for us was that after approx 11 long years National parks opened the gates to what is now known as Regatta Beach on Yanga Lake .Here is the old girl sitting forlornly by herself after donating her battery to our f#@#@#@#ss ski boat for the duration of the day.I must add that all the people out there were talking about how well she holds the water after they were treated to a couple of full noise passes. Hope this post will hold you all off until Hookster returns to his trusty keyboard

Hi Greg, on the wakool river we were the only boat bar 1 fishing boat. At Yanga, there was a total of 5 boats, two of the belonging to me.One of the only advantages of living in a remote area like we do. Incidently our SA members drive past this lake on the way to Narrandera. Was out there again today testing the other boat, only 3 there.

Hey Andy I'm back from my weekend road trip. Looks like a good bit of water (Strange that Chivs didn't comment on the colour of the water - looks like about white and one I reckon). A wet together at Yanga Lake is on the cards!!! I'll head up there if you select a date 8-) Great quality photos too, but with all the cameras at your disposal, it's no bloody wonder mate!!

Funny choice that, thick enough to walk on or cold enough to walk on? hmm
