Col, last weekend I offered to look through old Deepwater Syllabus' to see if there were any entries for Jan 2. At the back of each racing season Syllabus is a listing of all the boats known to be owned by Members of Deepwater MBC. My Syllabus collection ranges from 1949 to I970. I couldn't find a listing for Jan 2, but found one for Jan, owned by J Hancock, in the 1960 -61 Syllabus. There's a copy below for your info.
