Well, i for one have been busy digging trenches (one for power one for storm water) so i can get a permit for my bl##dy shed. 44 meters so far and counting, first one dug by hand to 300 mm deep! Sod that i think, i'll hire a trencher for the second deeper (600mm) one, spent the next couple of hours unbogging said trenching machine then proceded to dig bl##dy trench by hand again! Lesson learnt.... pay someone else to dig trenches, as for restoring boats? Who knows when i will even find them again under the crap i have collected in the few short months since completeing. It hasn't stopped raining since the new and wonderful carbon tax. MIRACULOUS !

I have been varnishing at night
just pluged the gunwale screws and now waiting for deck to harden before I roll it over to finish the hull coats.
Trailer is the next thing on the list and need some time to get ply for the other boat to start its deck

Just another sad note of no progress on my major project (Lightning 111).

However, i have been working on a small hydro which is almost done ! . Photos coming soon.

SUffrajet has been fitted with twin stromberg carbies. Nice holes have been cut in the engine cover to accommodate them and they look great poking through. Now I need to sort out the throttle linkages. No idea how it will go as the fuel pump has packed in.I have booked a houseboat at Mildura for late September so will have to get on to this soon!
Grumpy has half the inside varnished but it is too cold to paint in the shed. When the weather improves the painting will continue.
