Re: A Tasmanian experience
Ahoy all!
Well Torea outside hull pretty much finished including name! Unfortunately in the shed I can not do it justice to bother posting a photo, but am very happy with the result.
Now she has been successfully with no damage rolled back upright and have got a couple of coats sprayed in the interior, again not great photos but will give you something to look at!
Bit worried about Allan's last post about counting days to Narranderra, and I thought I had plenty of time

Re: A Tasmanian experience
I to are worried at the progress.
One is all most at the same stage as yours.
The other is closer but no trailer. Might have to stop counting the days- months sounds longer

Ahoy all! Just reporting on a day (Saturday 23.06.12) that struggled to get to 10 degrees with mountain snow to the 300m level Bruce and I braved the elements and went by water in Tomboy to support the launching of the Terra Linna, a boat built in 1880 ish that was saved and restored, awesome job. The full story can be found at http://www.woodenboatguildtas.org.au
Apparently to be cool and stuff they are looking for a Ford Y block to finish it off and join the club
Regards Chris
