Cool, just give us a bit of warning and we'll make sure there's a clean bed and some cold beer in the fridge. Shed floor goes in on Wednesday so the new "toy" can have pride of place. Spoke to my son the engine builder tonight, will have a warm 179 with triple su's as motivation unless something with a few more pots turns up. cya

Well, We are at Goolwa what a nice place!
At the entrance to the town a wall of hay bales simply saying "Powerboats"
April 15th. Parked the boat under carport of the house and had quite a number of slow cruising spectators taking pics.
Daves doing it tough but he will make it (somewhere between mildura and Adelaide at present) with Renegade.
Expecting the slilence to be shattered tomorrow with the arrival of the rest of the Victorians and moreover the Adelaide crews.
Looking forward to festivities
Darren and Family

Nah mate. If I drove the dodge nothing would have happened. I drove my falcon. The radiator burst on the hay plain. Luckily I had a spare on board. A hundred ks later a water line burst. At mildura the top radiator hose went. I wraped it with duct tape, removed the cap to relieve the pressure and drove the last four hundred ks without a drama. I arrived at 11.30 pm after spending 19 hrs on the road. Now my drama is how to get home. The car is stuffed.

Dave, You didn't happen too run over a black cat when you left Sydney did you.... Is this the same Falcon wagon that gave you problems at Narrandera in 2008. May be you could leave it a the top of the ramp in neutral. Cheers Chris
