Perfect day out at Nagambie today with the Cranksters Show and Shine.
Hundreds of vehicles and importantly, one boat!
Well done Ross!
Nagambie Show and Shine
Re: Nagambie Show and Shine
The boat did get a lot of interest all day, A chap who had been in the area for many years told me today that one or the first race boat on the lake is still around the town , believed to be supercharged T model powered boat , and for years it was under some tin in a back yard and now with a relative's collection of machinery .
I will chase this one up as a friends relative knows owner,
I was going to float the boat but after looking at the 800 plus entrants and catching up with some friends I needed to get home before the Roo's where out dancing on the road home.
So Ray, its fuelled up ready for your test day!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nagambie apparently was the birth place of the ocean racer { cigarette } and others like it in the 70's ? being built behind the pub on the opposite side of the road to the lake in a big shed.

Re: Nagambie Show and Shine
Hey Ross, with any luck should be back together next week sometime, as of Friday the crank was still at the machine shop. Would have kept you company if it had been together.
