Pagan
Re: Pagan
Had a good shed day today, took all the old clear off the underside of Pagan. Not quite what I had planned but it had gone brittle and basically lifted off when I blew the dust off with the compressor. After sanding it back I used Northane two pac clear to recoat, I will probably give it three or four coats to help seal it up, then give the whole thing a couple of coats of Feast and Watson clear inside and out.
Re: Pagan
Good to hear some one else is working in the shed in this weather Ray, I have been rebuilding one of the model A ford engines I have been climbing over for two years . Its nearly completed just have to bolt on the head and manifolds - Don't know what Ill put it in yet but at least it will be going and out of my way.

Re: Pagan
One more coat of clear and the bottom will be done, will give the trailer a clean up as well. Hoping to have it back on the trailer next weekend but no great rush. I may have found the perfect tow car ! Going to have a look at a 1958 Vanguard that I can chuck on club plates, would be a cool combo and a source of spare parts to boot! Would love to post some pics but due to the new version of windows I now have no bl##dy idea how to resize the photo's
Re: Pagan
So Ray, you've found the car for the honeymoon, but what about something to take the boat and tools to the races?

Re: Pagan
Is that ute parked under a tree or is it growing in (or through) the back of it? Might make it hard to tow away.
Re: Pagan
Vanguard's were good for 87 mph in there day better than a Holden at the time at 80.2 mph advertised top speed!!
And they where heavier too and you didn't see them boiling on the side of the road while towing.
The later one's having a 4 speed box and some with o/drive
