Ahoy all!

Amazing how time flys! Just for info and in order to erase any thought of not being prepared or organised the registrations for the next wooden boat festival started today, the festival will occur from Friday 6 February to Monday the 9th!

Needless to say Tomboy is already registered and the offer of the same hospitality etc to financial members that attend will be be there! If the weather is right it's an awesome event and on the Friday when all the boats get out for the sail past and start is quite spectacular!

If my favorites (you know who you are!) are there in time your berth is booked otherwise I have room for about 6? Just saying, the captains A tour is quite popular!

Chivs has new digs ! Special guests like yourself bunk down on the coach next to the central heating system, I hope Chivs can provide photos for all to see .

Having said that if anyone does need accommodation send me a message , Hobart usually books out 6 months in advance for this event.

Thanks Darren for pointing that out . The offer would be to sleep on his couch or is it a "sofa" on the big island . Regardless the captain coach can wear two hats as you know.

You can sleep on the boat with me but you may have to share with Darren if he is still unemployed? Just means I'll have to move the billiard table out of the games room if any more come? Taken a leaf out of the Half Safe story amazing how much room I have, full commercial kitchen next to the state room dam handy for entertaining!
Otherwise if you are a keen and agreeable cabin boy there generally is room on the windward bound!

do you think Chivs will have a fancy enough wine cellar in these new digs ?
Still don't think there could ever be enough crowding to require seeking a bunk on the windward passage.

I believe our fearless leader has a special relationship with the windward passage and has first dibs on a spare bunk. Re : wine cellars I'm sure the new digs will be fancy enough and incorporate the said wine cellar, in the meantime I will nick over with the excavator and provide a temporary solution.
