Amazing to see the old legend in such great shape. Be fantastic to see her on the water again, with The Sting alongside!

Bob this is the smaller wasp. The big wasp the one that the sting is copied off belongs to terry moran.

Bob, I thought the same but The Sting is a copy of Wasp Two, Glenn shows photos and list boat lengths at the bottom of the first page of his post.

Here's a couple of pics of the big old girl, Wasp Two. I believe that Ernie Nunn lent the plans to Dig Tregear so that Dig could build what turned out be Sting. These pics were taken some years ago, but the boat is still absolutely pristine. The sign writing and other bits as per the original livery have been completed and, last time I saw her, a Maserati was sitting in place, but not bolted in at that time. Not sure what the current plan is but, last I spoke with Terry about Wasp Two, he thought that she would be kept as a show piece and he may not fully prepare her for the water.
