G'day Doc,

I'm not sure where you are located, but try:

Lee Brothers Engineering
6 Dunlop Street, Parramatta NSW 2151
02 9890 1555

If they don't have what you want in stock they can probably make it!

The ladies behind the counter (especially Peggy Lee, now retired) are living encyclopaedia of fasteners! As a young fella accompanying my dad, a visit to their old shop on Church Street Parramatta was like stepping back in time to a turn-of-the-previous-century engineering works, complete with overhead belt-driven lathes, etc!

Cheers, Pete

Yep...
and it was intriguing as to the amount of jewelry she used to have on her not-so-clean fingers! One could understand that handling oily fasteners all day that her hands would not be pristine, but why wear all that jewelry!

Thanks for the reply Pete,
I'm in Victoria, but will ring these guys Monday. To make one i've been quoted $50. I've tried power saw shops which use LH bolts to lock blades, Metric! I've gone to mower shops they are metric and tried several bolt shops , most have LH nuts but no bolts.

Rang Lee Brothers Engineering:
Only LH nuts!
If you got a LH nut sounds like you don't need a LH bolt?

Doc - have you tried S. Keable at 185 A'Beckett St, Melbourne, 3000 - phone 9321 6400 & web http://www.keables.com.au/

If they don't have it or don't know where to get it, you ain't gonna get it!

Good luck.

Rang Keable,
Same boat : no LH bolts plenty of LH nuts.

Thanks for your input Bob.
