This display is on. I need to hear from anyone who wants to go in it. You need to bring your boat on The morning of the 26th of July. There is only so many spaces Dave 0413766501

Well I have the final numbers and it should be a great turn out. There is 8 confirmed hulls plus 3 extras if they have the room.

G'day Dave
Is there still a space left?
I haven't been in the site since you raised the topic. I will just have to check up with work and let you know early next week.
Cheers Chris

That ok, I think it would have been a big ask to get there anyway. I will look forward to seeing photos of the boats that do go.
Cheers Chris

Just got home from setting up the display. Thanks Andrew for helping out. The boats are in a main hall in a real prominent position. I reckon they will steal the show. ;)

Top effort to Dave and all those involved - the display would have to be the very best (the VERY best) that I have seen of wooden powerboats. This is a wonderful and interesting display and can only do the wooden boat cause the utmost good. I have some pics of the boats but will post them when I can.

Thanks Bob. At first it was hard to get boats to come (thats why I took 4). What I like about the display is that it pretty well covers all types of powerboats from an outboard runabout to an unlimited.
It would be great if you could post some pics as I havent been there yet to take any.
Dont you love the really old one? Its been basically in a shed since 1939. Although the motor isnt the one it ran with (an A ford with a twin cam Hal conversion) the owner has done a wonderful job of making it look like it was always fitted.
I cant wait to get there tommorrow to check it out.

Top effort Dave. I did some photos but don't seem to be able to load them onto the BB. Looks like I am either locked out... or that I've totally forgotten how to do this. Greg - help!
