Melbourne Wooden Boat Festival
Posted: 23 Dec 2009, 08:44
The Melbourne Wooden Boat Festival 2010 will be held in Victoria Harbour, Docklands.
The event is being held from February 19th – 21st and will bring together all of the major wooden boat and classic yacht groups in and around Melbourne creating an exciting opportunity for wooden boat enthusiasts to participate and enjoy.
The event is designed to promote wooden boat heritage and connect a broader public with the spirit of timber boating.
This event is fully supported by the CAWPBA (nh35_stormy@bigpond.com) and we are actively seeking participants and volunteers.
Refer to the Australian Wooden Boat website link at: http://www.woodenboat.com.au/MWBF2010/ for details and registration or Mark Bergin – Festival Director (0418 565 848) and Roger Dundas - Festival Bosun (0419 342 144) for details.
The event is less than 60 days away now and we need to establish how many boats we will have on show.
Please support this new event for Melbourne by particpating and displaying your boat. Boat registration is done through the website link above.
