Organisers of the Bairnsdale Motor Show are full on oreganising the 2010 event which will be huge. Date is February 19 - 21 2010.

The 2009 show was organised at short notice as a fund raiser for the Gippsland fire victims - it was such a success that the locals reckon they had hit on a great idea. We had a few boats there at the inaugural 2009 event - so with a new location (Bairsndale Racecourse) plus government funding and more time to put the event together 2010 is shaping up very well. The Bairnsdale Motor Expo was on the weekend with 3 members exhibiting boats, Richard Olsen (Jarrah), Max Curtis (Rebel) and Brenda Carter (Turbo Fire). The show had an awesome array of classic and vintage cars (hundreds of 'em), plus bikes, model planes and machinery. It was a great effort on the part of the organisers to assemble such a vast array of gear. The boats were a bit out of the way, but we had good patronage and plenty of interest.
