5th of may. If you want to run your old runabout skiff or hydro uhbpc are inviting intersted people to run their boat from sackville to windsor around 12.30.
We did this last year and it was great. It costs $20 to enter and you must have a sea worthy boat that meets minimum safety standards. Runabouts can wear ski type life jackets. Hydro skiff drivers race type jackets.
Helmets must meet aust standards and preferably be orange/ red.
Hydros must meet appropriate racing standards. Hydros although allowed to run faster will still need to hold back but can cross the approach to the finish line at speed..

I was going to race at toukley on the 5th but this run is a great one to do if there are other hydros coming ill bring thrifty too if not ill bring the crackerbox

Has someone finally seen some some sense and figured out that a hydro wont even hold themselves up on their sponsons at the previously suggested 40 mph speed limit.

Im planing on running a hydro. The 40mph isnt on this year. They just dont want them going flat out but we can get into it a bit at th end. Suits me that way. At least i might finish.

8 or 12 cylinders ?

Hopefully eight but maybe twelve.

Better let us all know if its "12" I reckon I would fly up for a gander !

Im going to try and start it this week. Just have to replace a couple of diaphrams.

I suppose 2 sixes together don't quite make a 12 cylinder merlin .were is the rest of those old hydros ?

any word on who's coming, and how goes the merlin dave.
