2009 Sydney working with wood show

Went to the working with wood show on Sunday with a bloke I know who owns a boat or 2
The wooden boat association had a display there and they attracted a lot of attention
There was some amazing timber there
The 2 pieces below are Australian red cedar and were $700 each
Of course as soon as I got home and saw the pics I thought we must be mad , why didnt we buy one each!
But for a rare and endangered species there was a hell of a lot there
This was not the only timber merchant selling it there were other guys there as well
The question is I guess
Was this just a one of fluke the fact that there was so much red cedar there or this going to be a regular thing?
If we go back next year and there's non well....
