Echo Too introduction

Bit of cut and pasting here, hope it works. Should give a bit of an intro to "Echo Too"
Ski Boat
Built; from about 1959 to 1962 (it took a while)
Owner/Builder; Brian Wiseman
15’8” flat bottom ski boat, ¼” ply wood skin (bondwood) over Queensland maple frames with Oregon stringers.
Bronze screwed and glued with casein glue (horse glue)
1962-1964
Estimated 80hp (stock 239 flathead output)
Ford Flathead, 59a, 239 cubic inch, 3 ¾” stroke, 3 3/16” bore, compression 6.1:1, single Marvel Schebler 10-3300 2bbl carburettor.
Exhaust manifolds 1 ¼” id galvanized into copper tail pipes.
divers helmet distributor, generator converted to 12v.
Propeller 12.5” dia x 11”pitch, no cup, 7/8” propeller shaft, direct drive.
Smiths marine gauges
2008-2009, 2009-2010 season
Estimated 170hp
Bored to 3 5/16” to 258 cubic inch, mains .020, big end .020.
Ross forged pistons, French flathead connecting rods, edelbrock alloy heads, block deck relieved 3/16”, compression 8.2:1. Full oil filtration.
Iskederian 88 full race camshaft, iskederian blue valve springs, Johnston hollow body adjustable lifters, Manley Pro flow valves, inlet oversize 1.6”, exhaust std 1.5”, ported inlet and exhaust ports, edelbrock super dual inlet manifold, 2x2bbl Marvel Schebler carburettors, mandrel bent stainless steel extractors , 1 5/8” primaries, 2” secondary pipes water jacketed, end pipes carry the same 40 degree angle as the exhaust ports leaving the block.
Mallory electronic ignition.
Propeller 12” dia x 12”pitch, super cup, 7/8” propeller shaft. Adjustable trim tabs fitted to handle rough water and porpoiseing at speed.
44mph @ 3900rpm, full throttle.
2010-2011, 2011-2012 season
Estimated 220hp
Gm 6v53 blower .9 under driven, 3psi boost, water intercooler, water cooled inlet manifold, phenolic resin block insulator, twin mechanical fuel pumps, boost/vacuum and fuel pressure gauges, crow blower grind cam. Centre main bearing cap support.
Propeller 12” dia x 15”pitch cleaver, super cup, 1” 431grade stainless steel propeller shaft.
49mph @ 3500rpm (gps), 67mph @ 4500rpm rev limit.
Ah! 10pictures per post!! But not sure why a couple of them have doubled up!!
Then there is the "Wells Bilt" which is past being in a bad state, i'll get some more pictures of it next!
