G'Day all or now a boat owner should I say AHOY . As they say you have made your choice now live with it,But I'm happy. The boat I brought was the Chris Craft Holiday listed on Boat Sales named CHRISIE. It wasn't the best week end to make a life changing event, rain rain and more rain. left home at 4 am for a 600 k trim to melbourne stayed at a friends place, the next day off to get the boat lucky for us it was under in a car port only light rain, after the deal went back to Ringwood more rain in peak hour traffic with a 8ft wide single axle trailer an a car that looked like it had worms dragging its backside along the road.
I now understand the meaning of pe-soak after a night parked on the footpath and teaming with rain all night and no cover on the boat, so I opened the bung and headed of home bright and early so I thought after 2 hours made it to the Sydney Rd and turned right and never looked back after road works and detours. now only light rain It Rained all the way back to Cowra.I must say the garrage never looked so good. After a quick cup of tea back to the garage to dry of the boat just could not go to bed leaving her like that.there was still water coming out the bung the next morning Any way that's how I got my first boat.
I guess this is only the start. but all good. Brian
