Thanks for that Scotto! I think it's in your market mate, but will look after it for you so you can style it at the next wooden boat festival!

Not sure you can speak Vietnamese, but you can always use your sign speaking skills which is universal, and no mistake how many is three! Have a great trip mate, and if in doubt ... Don't!
Looking forward to the stories cheers mate.

Ahoy all!

Yes been a bit quiet, but have been chiipping away with Brent (new member) the blow fly, and it is because of his expertixe etc the motor for Torea has transformed into something special. There has been a delay because of the dry sump set up, but we now have all the bits, just a delay on the engineering of an extra pulley to go on the fly wheel.

As always I like to attach some photos of the progress, so here goes. You may remmember I started with this very clean 350 chev!

Ahoy all! Thanks for the feedback Ray and at the request of Glen in sunny Townsville here are a couple more progress bits. Couple of my restored VDO guages to go in the Dash and the custom fuel tank which will hold over 50 litres, enough to get a couple of laps in?

Cheers from a not so sunny Tassie!

Hi Chivs, looking pretty good there. You sure you aren't secretly building a skiff?

Looking for another one to drive Bob? No apart from the engine and a couple of other bits I am hoping Torea will look the way it was intended back in the day. The joke is I wanted to take it to Goolwa! Should be right for the next one unless a certain person has a fire sale and off loads an unwanted hydro, but that's another story you might have witnessed at Goolwa?

Cheers mate

Chivs

All looking really nice. With that 50 litre tank, are you looking to try a crossing of the Strait?

Were the gauges done local?
