Swap meet
Re: Swap meet
Ok, It was good but didnt see any thing that I need but the RRv12 that was over the road from us did get some attention but at $10000 was still sitting there when we left .Sat night the stands were thining out a little but I think that at least 2/3rd or more would stay for sunday trade but would be all over by mid day sunday. you would need to be there early to get time to look around.
I think It was good to see some members come to the site for a rest and chat.
How many treatures did you get????

Re: Swap meet
No treasures for me Ross. Apart from the Meteor engine and the Rover V8 sitting next to it, I saw a pair of exhaust manifolds for 308/253 along with a couple of mufflers (looked like they had a bit or corrosion in them), a pair for a 350, a couple of Paul type water pumps, a nice pair of finned alloy rocker covers for a Y-block (never did go back and check whether that bloke bought them) and a couple of other bits and pieces. It was a good swap meet - better than Bendigo, I thought. Jeez it was hot walking around, though. I think I covered it all - started walking at 0830 and called it a day at 1630 - buggered!
I kept a lookout for a Lincoln bomber to put under your turret Dave, but sadly, the cupboard was bare.
