River Jewel
River Jewel is a Glen-L Missile design, built by owner John Galea.
Completed
in late 2008, the boat is of exceptional build quality using only the
best quality materials and has been fitted out to the same exacting standard.
Timbers used were Hoop Pine for the Frame,
Gaboon marine ply for the
exterior.
Olive Ash and Teak veneer were used for the deck, sides and transom.
River Jewel is powered by a 350 Chev,
running a 650 Holley double pumper
on a Victor Jnr manifold with port and polish head work. Connected to the
Chev is a soft clutch and an Argo V drive running 11% over-drive.
